Tom Berenger took home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for "Hatfields & McCoys" at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Berenger beat out Denis O'Hare in "American Horror Story," Ed Harris for "Game Change," David Strathairn in "Hemingway & Gellhorn," and Martin Freeman as Dr. John Watson in "Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia."
Berenger co-starred in the History Channel smash-hit "Hatfields & McCoys" as Jim Vance, an impulsive and violent member of the Hatfield clan.
Later in the ceremony, "Hatfields & McCoys" star Kevin Costner won his first career Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries Or Movie.
