The handsome hunk turns 43 today (can you believe it?) and we wanted to pay tribute to his special day by showcasing his incredible body transformation. Not only has the actor buffed up over the years, but recently he has shed more than 30 pounds for his role in "The Dallas Buyer's Club." "I'm playing a guy who was sick and would have loved to have been healthier but wasn't. For me, it's more of a mental thing than a physical thing," McConaughey shared with Us Weekly. "I'll get down to the weight I need to get to. I'm on my way, and it's what I need to do for the job." His slim look is a far cry from the actor's normally muscled-up physique, which McConaughey has taken pride in for the past decade. We're sure as soon as shooting ends, he'll bulk up once again and give us some more of those shirtless moments we've been missing.
