According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broderick will play a neurotic new friend to Phil (Ty Burrell) in Season 4. Other Season 4 guest stars include Shelley Long and Wendi McLendon-Covey. Broderick's small screen credits include "30 Rock," "Frasier" and recent voice work on "Adventure Time." "Modern Family" returns to ABC on Wed., Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET. No word on when Broderick's episode will air. In other casting news ... Anthony Michael Hall will guest star on "Psych."
